My name is Pedro Alejandro Cabra-Acela, I hold a B.A and a M.A in economics at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. For the past years, I have worked on research and consulting projects, as well as a TA. I graduated cum laude from the M.A in October 2021, and I am very interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in economics in the future.

I have worked on projects with Universidad de los Andes, LSE, Yale University, IDB and Quantil. In doing so, I have been exposed to intensive mathematics and programming challenges related to financial mathematics, forecasting, machine learning, public policy, impact evaluation, among others. Currently, I work as a predoctoral research fellow at Princeton University.


Mi nombre es Pedro Alejandro Cabra-Acela, tengo un pregrado y una maestría en economía de la Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. En los últimos años, he trabajado en proyectos de investigación, consultoría y como instructor de clases unviersitarias. Me gradué cum laude de la maestría en octubre de 2021 y estoy muy interesado en buscar un doctorado en economía en el futuro.

He trabajado en proyectos con la Universidad de los Andes, LSE, Universidad de Yale, BID y Quantil. He estado expuesto a desafíos de matemáticas y programación relacionados matemáticas financieras, pronósticos, aprendizaje de máquinas, política pública, evaluación de impacto, entre otros. Actualmente estoy en un predoctorado en la Universidad de Princeton.
